Well the developers at Slant 6 released a new post on their official blog at Socom.com giving everyone some bad news. They announced last night that the Socom public beta was going to be pushed back to the 5th of September. This angered many of the gamers waiting for the Socom Public beta. Many people had planned LAN parties with all there friends for Sunday night in anticipation of the beta. Many of the people who had to work on the first of September even took the day off to play. Believe it or not, there was actually some good news. The final release for the game has not been pushed back and the beta will still be a month long. The developers even promised that the extra wait will be more than worth it. Also for everyone who got into the beta through Qore will also be pushed back 4 days.
